CloudABI and FreeBSD

Hi folks,

Just saw the last bsdnow interview and got to know the existence of cloudabi which is very interesting and promising. Indeed, I could see an use for it, for the DeviceAtlas API, getting compiled all the dependencies, pcre and such, then the API itself just one time and just drop those elf binaries in a cloudabi instance, whatever the underlying operating system. One less "burden" for the customers. These are pure theatrical thinkings though, once I ll get the chance, I ll try a FreeBSD cloudabi's compliant version :-)

Following up

Hi folks,

A while ago, I explained that I was teaching for the first time. This is nearly the end, gave the last (big) bit recently. For sure, I won t forget this experience anytime soon, learnt a lot from it. That reminded me this fact also, you have never finished to learn, it is an endless process ...
As usual, I prepare the next BSDmag issue + open source projects works.

Hopefully will give more significant update later ;-)
