Nearly a decade after my first fix, I finally circle back to OpenJDK ; more specifically about Hotspot this time around though. Always liked programming language compilers, will try my best to fix some of its bugs but the Just in Time compiler is definitely a fascinating machinery.

About PHP, as always at this time of the year, we prepare the next major release ; 8.6 here. As always, always trying to achieve better performance but security is even taken more seriously than before. Feature-wise, one of the highlights is, in my opinion, the "Partial function application". As Foundation members, we now publish quaterly reports if you are interested.

Apart of this, a bit more or the same, a bit of nginx fixes here, rust or yquake2 (remaster), llvm there. I wish you nice summer, may the weather recharge you well enough ☝
